MotorCity Harley-Davidson Under New Ownership
MotorCity Harley-Davidson Acquired by Largest Harley-Davidson Dealer Group in the Midwest
Farmington, Michigan, August 12, 2021 — MotorCity Harley-Davidson in Farmington, Michigan, has been acquired by Paul Veracka. Paul Veracka along with his brother Michael and father David, have been in the Harley-Davidson business since 2003 owning and operating eighteen of the largest dealerships in the country.
“I’m excited to add MotorCity Harley-Davidson, expanding my Michigan footprint of dealerships which includes Motown Harley-Davidson in Taylor,” Veracka added. “The team at MotorCity H-D has done a great job over the past years building both a community of Harley riders in the Detroit area, as well as a great business that we will continue to develop for many years to come. My company was founded by riders, built for riders, and we are dedicated to passing that passion along to others.”
“MotorCity Harley-Davidson is home to one of Detroit’s largest riding communities. We will have over 100 events a year, including bike nights, group rides, open house parties and charity events. We will be increasing our inventory of motorcycles, along with an expanded selection of parts, accessories, and clothing, which will cement us as the destination Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership in the Detroit area and all of Michigan,” Veracka continued. “The trucks have already started shipping motorcycles from my other stores to immediately increase the selection for our local customers.”
Along with the inventory expansion, the new owner is currently hiring for the sales department to add additional team members to the staff in anticipation of increased business. The additional staff is necessary to achieve Veracka’s Wildly Important Goal, “to fulfill dreams by delivering a premium customer experience creating customers for life.”
“My company allows us to take dealerships that do an exceptional job and build them into world class facilities. We are very fortunate to inherit a great staff at MotorCity of passionate team members,” Veracka said. “Providing additional training for the staff combined with increased marketing, events, and inventory, has proven successful across my entire group. We continue introducing thousands of new Harley-Davidson riders each year to the sport.”
This new acquisition in Farmington is a testament of Veracka’s commitment to the continued success of Harley-Davidson for years to come. Collectively, the company will sell over 10,000 Harley-Davidson motorcycles in 2021, continuing to strengthen its position as one of the largest Harley-Davidson groups in the world.
